In the
second week, we continued with the use of the platform. There are a lot of new things
to learn. First, we learned to enter to Virtual class, we had to follow these
steps:
1.- Enter
to Uta.edu.ec
2.- Click
in Aula virtual
3.- Choose
course categories (‘’facultad de ciencias
humanas’’)
4.-Choose the
subcategory (In this case ‘’Carrera de Idiomas’’)
5.-Click in
‘’Quinto Semestre’’
6. - Click
in INTERNET AND MULTIMEDIA RESOURCES
7.-Finally we
have to log in typing our ID number and our password
After this
process we started to use the platform. In the last class we learned how to
participate in a forum discussion. It is really important to know about this
topic because there are a lot of forums on the web about different topics such
as: Politics, technology, environment, sports, music and so o. I think that is
really important because in a forum we can express our personal Ideas. Also can
interact with people from other countries. It is really important for me to
know about different points of view based on real information of course, I mean
investigations, scientific studies, etc. All of us participated in a Forum discussion
that Teacher Wilma wrote on the platform about evaluating websites. I learned
how to use this technologic tool and I will use it in different forums on the
internet about any kind of topic as I mentioned before.

read the rubric to evaluate blogs, so you know exactly what I expect you to do.
look at the examples of learning reflective blogs from our virtual classroom.
your entries should show good reflection, not just simple general things.
you should add more information and cite all the sources you have used during the week.
you should investigate and add information about the topics we study in class.
